Reserve the Sebastopol Community Apple Press

One appointment of 20 min. is sufficient for you to press up to 100 pounds of apples. If you need to rinse your apples please come 15 minutes early. Asian Pears need to be quartered. Bring a friend, or two, to make your work lighter! At the Farm, a Slow Food volunteer familiar with operation of the press will be on site. All you need to bring is your apples (be it from your own trees or bought from one of our local growers) and containers with lids.  Reused plastic is preferred over glass, to avoid breakage.

COVID-19 The health and safety of our patrons and volunteers are of paramount importance. Therefore, as the Covid pandemic continues, we require that everyone at the press be fully vaccinated. In addition, because different volunteers have different health concerns, we may sometimes require that patrons be masked at the press. Patrons should be prepared to wear a mask if required by the volunteer in charge, and we will have a supply of masks available for patrons who do not bring their own and need one.

If you are not fully vaccinated in time for your apple pressing, please send a fully vaccinated friend to press your apples for you. Our schedule for this season is filling up fast, so if you are unable to come at the time you have scheduled, please use the cancellation button on your approval notice to let us (and your neighbors) know that a time has become available.

Thank you, and we wish you a very healthy and happy apple season.
