Chateau Montelena Vertical 2011, 2012, 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, Montelena Estate, Napa Valley

“In 1976 Chateau Montelena helped put California at the forefront of the wine world. At the famed Judgment of Paris tasting, four white Burgundies were tasted against six California Chardonnays. When the scores were tallied, the French Judges were convinced that the top-ranking white wine was one of their own. In fact, it was Chateau Montelena’s 1973 Chardonnay, rated above all other wines. The results proved that Chateau Montelena could produce some of the world’s finest wines, and that California’s wine industry had come of age.”

3 Bottles Dehlinger 2015 Pinot Noir Goldridge

“U.C. Davis grad, Tom Dehlinger, launched his namesake brand in 1975. He was one of the pioneers of California Pinot Noir.  At the time he bonded his winery, there were a mere three dozen wineries registered in Sonoma County. Starting out with a few hundred cases of Chardonnay, Cabernet and Zinfandel, he grew the brand into a producer of highly sought after, cult-status Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. They also produce small amounts of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. However, Dehlinger is renowned for Pinots that have proven to be exceptionally age-worthy. Despite maintaining a low profile, Dehlinger is well known and revered among the cognoscenti.” http://www.dehlingerwinery.com/

Magnum 2015 Scherrer Winery “Old and Mature” Zinfandel, Alexander Valley Our old vine Zinfandel represents the labor of three generations of the Scherrer family – many of the vines that produced this wine were planted in 1912. It was bottled without fining filtration to capture the beauty and personality of the Scherrer Vineyard. Although enjoyable in its youth, it should age and develop gracefully for 5 to 10 years after the vintage.
