How to get to the Press: Directions to the Luther Burbank Gold Ridge Experiment Farm, 7777 Bodega Ave., Sebastopol CA 95472
COVID-19. As an all-volunteer effort, the Community Apple Press must operate with the utmost safety for everyone involved. With the recent surge in Covid cases, we are asking that all apple press patrons and volunteers be fully vaccinated and masked when at the press. Children under 12 are most welcome, but should be masked.
If you are not fully vaccinated in time for your apple pressing, please send a fully vaccinated friend to press your apples for you. Our schedule for this season is filling up fast, so if you are unable to come at the time you have scheduled, please use the cancellation button on your approval notice to let us (and your neighbors) know that a time has become available.
Thank you, and we wish you a very healthy and happy apple season!
One appointment of 20 min. is sufficient for you to press up to 100 lbs of apples. If you need to rinse your apples please come 15 minutes early. Asian Pears need to be quartered. Bring a friend, or two, to make your work lighter! At the Farm, a Slow Food volunteer familiar with operation of the press will be on site. All you need to bring is your apples (be it from your own trees or bought from one of our local growers) and containers with lids. Reused plastic is preferred over glass, to avoid breakage.
To reserve a slot, click on a date, then select an open time slot.
If you need to cancel there will be a link to do that in your confirmation email. Please use it so other apple juice lovers can take that spot.
