As a membership-based organization, our community of members are key to the success of the Slow Food movement - both on a global and at a local level. We welcome your participation in our events and with our projects and encourage informing us about community issues of importance to you. We also want to know more about you and the work you are doing in the community. Drop us a line via email and tell us about your interests and what you think we can do to make our community better when it comes to Local, Clean, and Fair food in our community.

If you have a website or business, commercial or personal, you may list it here along with a 25-word description of your program and/or interests. You may also use this space to share personal experiences /writings about our food community.

Rules
The goal of this section is communication and interaction among members and the larger community. So, the rules are simple:

  • Businesses must be related to the mission of Slow Food

  • Web site/email links will be placed on the title of the web site or with your name
  • Listings are alphabetical by company name or member's surname include all contact info

Sonoma Organics works with small organic farmers, artisanal cheese makers, and other specialty producers. We offer their products professionally and courteously to stores, restaurants and wineries in Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties.

The California Rare Fruit Growers garden club promotes interest in fruit growing, with special emphasis on rare and unusual fruits.


California FarmLink provides a range of services to facilitate a transition from one farmer or landowner to the next generation of farmers.

The Regenerative Design Institute (RDI) is a non-profit educational organization with the vision that all people can live in a mutually enhancing relationship with the earth. We envision a world in which people, inspired by nature, create and maintain healthy and abundant livelihoods that enhance fertility and biodiversity on the planet.

The School Garden Network (SGN) provides students with opportunities to establish a life-long dedication to the environment and their communities, to develop a healthy understanding of nutrition, and to further their academic achievement through hands-on learning.

Sonoma County Farm Trails supports sustainable agricultural diversity in Sonoma County through the promotion of its members products via on site sales, organized retail opportunities, marketing and public relations campaigns, and educational forums that create public awareness to ensure the preservation of Sonoma County's rich agricultural heritage for generations to come.

Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) is building a movement of rural and urban people to foster family-scale agriculture that cares for the land, sustains local economies and promotes social justice.

Summerfield Waldor School & Farm  Based on a developmental understanding of the learning process and a view of the child that takes human spirituality seriously, Summerfield Waldorf School offers students a comprehensive learning environment designed to challenge and support them in strengthening their cognitive, emotional and intentional abilities.
