This is a wonderful event for families and individuals interested in supporting a farm enterprise that utilizes 100% locally raised wool. The previous two Wool Festivals were held in Valley Ford.

Part of our Northern California Fibershed, Casari Ranch is one of the only ranches in California that produces wool bedding and home goods that are grown, milled and made right on the ranch. Their products have almost no carbon footprint. They do not use any chemicals, synthetic oils, or acids in our processing. They have the only 10’ needle loom on the west coast, and make a variety of sustainable products, including wool fabrics, rugs, blankets, custom pads and art felts. Like Casari Ranch on Facebook. Read more about Ariana Strozzi Mazzucchi and Casey Mazzucchi, the owners of Casari Ranch.

The festival will include fiber crafts, local artists, music, and many local food and drink vendors. Learn about wool grading, raw fleeces, locally made clothing, bedding, home accessories, spinning, and weaving. There will also be farm tours, and tours of the wool mill.
If you want to help support local farms and artists, this event is a must! Have you ever wanted to learn to hand spin wool? Or use a spinning wheel? Are you interested in weaving or felting with local fiber? There will be demonstrations throughout the day, giving instruction and opportunity for hands-on activities.
